The Jeff Smith Foundation was originally created to help donate a portion of the company’s income to charities and good causes. Over the years, we have donated money to many different charities who have touched our lives at the time. Since Jeff began this journey in 1999, the Foundation has grown, become more structured, and has extended into many areas to improve the lives of others who find themselves in situations less fortunate than our own. Here are a few examples of what we do.
Changing lives through education
The Foundation helps to support people to obtain Professional Qualifications in the automotive industry in situations where it might not be possible for them to achieve the qualifications alone. Our help might be by providing specialist support, one-to-one mentorship, providing a scholarship to assist with funding, or the provision of books or learning materials. Applying for a scholarship involves submitting an application to us, together with letters of recommendation, and other relevant documents. Our sole aim is to help those who are in need, those who cannot gain the position they require without our assistance.
Our Ambassadors are also available to speak at schools and educational institutions to help youngsters to understand the educational opportunities available with Professional Qualifications so they may craft their future within the automotive industry.
Time to enjoy the gift of life
In addition to our assistance with education, we aim to spread a little happiness and relief by enriching the lives of disabled people, people recovering from a serious illness, and people with a terminal illness, by enabling them to experience something special. Gifts include an exhilarating flight in a gyroplane, or other aircraft, to create a truly incredible day to remember to lift the spirits of those who have life-limiting conditions who otherwise would not be able to experience such an event
Our gyroplane experiences are available for anyone to enjoy if you care to make a donation, and 100% of the money you pay goes directly to the Foundation so that others can benefit from your kindness.

The automotive industry reaches all walks of life, not to mention the times when we’re ill and we need help the most. The UK ambulance services contacted Jeff for help with running their workshops to ensure that emergency services are kept on the road throughout the UK. Jeff is always happy to supply whatever help and assistance he can and the Foundation donates his books to help the cause.
