Nasser Bin Khaled Automotive in Qatar are pushing their business forward by investing in training for all of their staff in KPI interpretation.

Paul Maryan, Chief Operations Officer of NBK Automotive began the KPI initiative in January 2008.

“We need to continually improve our customer satisfaction and at the same time improve our sales and profitability. You can’t reach these objectives by running blind, you have to have the right people, the right knowledge and the right tools to get the job done effectively.

We have a great team of people here at NBK and we’ve decided to give them the best training in the world, that’s why we commissioned Jeff Smith to come over here. The programmes he’s devised and delivered for both senior management and line management are already having an awesome effect on our business and staff motivation is running really high.”

NBK Automotive move forward with KPI training

 

Jeff says, “It’s been a real pleasure working here in Doha, the hospitality is fantastic and everyone from NBK Automotive have treated me so well, I feel like one of the family.

Of course there are some differences between Qatar, the UK and the rest of the world, but at the end of the day KPI deals with people, customers, money and time so business strategy is basically the same the world over. As long as you have the common sense to apply what you need in your local market, business improvement is fairly straight forward as long as you have strong foundations in place.”
