Jeff Smith interviews and free audio programmes
Jeff Smith is currently interviewing a number of prominent and influential people and recording the interviews on audio so that you can listen to them for free on the web.
We have a number of interviews already complete and they will be available for you to listen to in October 2008.
The people we are interviewing are from a variety of job roles, industries and of course, many people from the Motor Industry. However, it’s not just industry talk that you’ll find interesting. For instance, we have Gary Foster, a professional Hypnotist who is talking about the words and phrases that we use on a daily basis and how we can “update” or vocabulary to increase our selling skills and management abilities.
We also have a special features on how to choose the right Dealer Management System featuring interviews with the Managing Directors of the companies that supply the software such as Dragon 2000, Gemini, ADP to name but a few.
If improving your presentation skills for meetings is your thing, we have an interview with Dr. Simon Raybould who will teach you how to improve your presentation skills, public speaking and give you some exercises on how to overcome nerves prior to any presentation that you have to make.
There’s a section on Motor Retailing and the Law with interviews with legal bods on Trading Standards issues such as the use of trade plate and the newly updated consumer law.
Also on the subject of Law we have Kate Russell, specialising in Employment Law being interviewed about what’s happening in the current climate and how you can avoid recruiting a problem and how to deal with employees who are always going off sick.
Sarah Sillars OBE, Chief Executive of The IMI is also talking to Jeff about the future of The IMI and the new Management ATA accreditation.
In another programme, we have Paul Bell, a Corporate Psychic and fortune teller who reads palms. In this interview he talks about palm reading and how you can read someone’s palm to see if they are in the correct job role; fascinating stuff!
Building a successful Internet strategy is paramount for all modern companies and we’re interviewing the very controversial Ling Valentine, an expert in this field who’s providing tips how how to get ranked in the top 10 on Google, increase your Internet presence and she’s also been on the BBC television programme, Dragon’s Den.
We also have Stephen Briers, Editor of Automotive Management giving you his thoughts on the future of the Motor Industry with some useful tips on writing skills.
