Harley Davidson have just launched their used bike programme called “Harley Davidson Originals” and they are offering customers the knowledge that all of the used bikes on show have been painstakingly inspected to ensure that they are of the highest quality.
All used bikes go through a rigorous inspection process to ensure their quality and authenticity. Only when each used bike successfully passes these rigorous tests does it go through to the showroom to be offered for sale.
The Harley Davidson Originals programme includes the following standards:
- 99 point inspection
- Everything is known about a used bike from the day it was born
- It’s an original used bike and you have it in writing
- 12 months official Harley Davidson Warranty (with an optional upgrade at extra cost)
- Mileage verification
- 12 months free H.O.G. membership
The Harley Davidson web site contains a search facility so that customers can search the UK to find the cheapest prices on used bikes, view the exact specification of each used bike and know that the standard of the used bikes they are viewing are of the highest quality.

Just found this on Google and about time too! Bought bikes for years and mostly they have been dirty with no or poor history and have had to pay all the money for them too. The first thing I do when I buy a bike and get it home is clean it properly! If Harley are really doing this with used bikes I say well done to Harley for getting this right.
